Description
Most spoon rests are an afterthought — a small ceramic dish that chips, a plastic tray that stains, a round coaster that can’t hold a ladle. This one is built like the rest of the STELE line: solid food-grade 304 stainless, formed to live on the island and stay there.
At eighteen inches, it takes a tasting spoon, a wooden spatula, and a serving ladle at the same time. The five-inch width is enough to catch drips without crowding the burner. Nothing soaks in. Nothing holds odor. Heat from a just-lifted spoon does not mark it. Wash it with the board, dry it, set it back.
It is not plated. It is not coated. It is the same steel through the entire piece — the same material as the boards that sit next to it.
